MAZ Systems was an ad-tech company that developed software solutions in the OTT and streaming space that was acquired by Zype in 2021.
As their Content and Editorial Lead, I developed and executed a multi-channel content marketing strategy that incorporated video, social media, as well as short and long form written content.

In the content and streaming space, news happens constantly. My challenge was to share relevant news highlights in order to cut through the noise. Enter "The MAZ Content Brief" - a video reel distilling the top news in media, streaming, tech, and beyond in just 30 seconds.
In collaboration with our video producer, we scripted, created, and launched these reels three times a week.

While they had a presence on Medium for years, MAZ did not have a blog to call their own. I launched their first blog, developing everything from the format to content products to ongoing execution. Once live, my work focused on creating original content to drive desired metrics.
EDITORIAL VIDEOS
While "The MAZ Content Brief" provided a snapshot of current headlines, I also helped produce a series of longer form videos that took a deeper dive into issues in the streaming space.
This video breaks down Chicago’s “streaming tax”, which tackled the anticipated effects the policy will have on streaming and OTT in the future.
